Why Your Mental Health is Just as Important as Your Physical Health

We talk about body fitness. Nobody talks about mind fitness. Let's change that. If you broke your leg — you would go to a doctor immediately. No hesitation. No embarrassment. But if you feel anxious every single day, or deeply sad for weeks, or so stressed you can't sleep — most of us say nothing. Do nothing. Just push through and hope it gets better. Why? Because somewhere along the way we learned that physical illness is real and mental struggle is weakness. That taking care of your body is important but taking care of your mind is somehow extra — optional — not serious. This thinking is wrong.
